Informed Patient Experience

We believe in building a partnership with our patients in all facets of your care, to create a customized treatment plan just for you. An important ingredient to this partnership is providing education and information for our patients, so that we can speak a similar language during joint decision making.

In our experience, patients are already looking for information online on their own, through search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.), social media, and YouTube, among other sources. Unfortunately, the quality of online resources for orthopedic shoulder conditions can often be outdated or incomplete.

Due to this need for high-quality, evidence-based educational content for our patients, we have put together this resource to provide a basic understanding of the most common shoulder conditions and procedures. As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any feedback on the material. Check back from time to time for updates as well - we are constantly working to improve the material and expand the number of topics.
